Quick answer: Dial *8# from the SIM in your handset to check your own number where supported. For SIM totals across operators, enter your own CNIC at cnic.sims.pk or send it to 668.

Official verification methods

1

Own-number code

Dial *8# from the relevant SIM. Codes may change; confirm through the operator if it does not respond.

2

CNIC SIM count

Use PTA’s official portal for the operator-wise number of connections registered against your own identity.

3

Operator support

Call 310 from the same network or visit an authorized service centre with your original CNIC.

Check your Zong number

  1. Insert the Zong SIM in your phone.
  2. Open the dialler and enter *8#.
  3. Read the number shown on screen. If the code fails, use the official operator app or call support.
  4. For ownership or biometric questions, visit an authorized service centre with your original CNIC.
Network-porting note: A mobile prefix may no longer identify the current operator after number portability. For a current network check, follow PTA’s official instruction to send N 03xxxxxxxxx to 76367.

If an unknown SIM appears on your CNIC

Take a screenshot of the official operator-wise result. Contact Zong support and ask them to confirm whether the unexpected count belongs to their network. For removal or investigation, use an authorized service centre and keep the complaint reference number.

Avoid data-selling websites: Do not enter a CNIC, OTP or phone number into pages promising another person’s name, address or live location.
